I really do enjoy making coloring pages. But what I enjoy even more is seeing what they look like after they're colored in.
Click this link to download a PDF of my Thanksgiving Day coloring page so you can print it out and have a blast with it.
After you color it in, or your kids color it in, post it up on my Samalou Facebook page - like I said - I love to see how your kids (and you) color in my coloring pages.
I like to let loose and do my own artwork. I'm not exactly sure what this illustration means. I'll leave that up to you. But what I do know for sure is that I had a great time drawing it.
I often feel that the simplest, or I should say cleanest, designs and illustrations make great t-shirts. So here I decided to put my own spin on See No Evil, Hear No Evil and Speak No Evil. If you dig this one you can by it at my Zazzle store. Just click on the link below.
While I do enjoy illustrating in what I call my "Samalou style", I also enjoy creating other types of illustrations too. I've always been into listening to metal - you know - the Scorpions, Ozzy, Metallica - so doing an illustration like this one is like second nature to me. Like a lot of my work, if you dig it, you can buy it on a shirt. Just head on over to my Zazzle shop and pick one up.
I've loved the work of artist, Rick Griffin ever since I was in high school (a long time ago). When you look through my portfolio of illustrations and designs here on the site it's probably pretty clear to see his influence on my work. Rick Griffin was an amazing, talented artist who illustrated countless album covers and posters in his day. His work has influenced many of today's top artists. If you aren't familiar with his work check him out online - you'll be glad you did.
I feel like this illustration would make a really cool tattoo. What do you think?
